SPRAY FOAM INSULATION SYSTEMS

Virtually Eliminates Air Infiltration
Foam creates an exterior air barrier virtually eliminating air infiltration and allowing the fiberglass insulation to perform at its maximum efficiency.

Combined with Fiberglass Insulation
The combination of fiberglass insulation and spray foam works in unison to produce higher R-values and better sound control. The Spray foam fills all gaps and voids before the fiberglass insulation is installed, ensuring a a tight, economical package.

Higher R-values
You can attain an R-16 in a 2x4 wall frame & an R-24 in a 2x6 frame wall; greater R-values for larger dimensional lumber and I-joists. Foam is available in several reactivity profiles and densities (see below).

Excellent Sound Control
Since all the gaps and voids in the walls, rim joist, and around pipes are filled using the foam prior to the fiberglass insulation being installed, this improves the sound control properties of spray foam compared to only using fiberglass batts.

Non-corrosive
All components of our spray foam systems are non-corrosive.

Differences in Foam Densities

xxv0.5 lb open cell spray foam insulation

The most economical option, 0.5 open cell spray foam has an R-value of 3.8 per inch. Although this is comparable in R-value to fiberglass insulation, 0.5 open cell spray foam is far superior because of it's ability to eliminate air flow. The latest research shows that over 40% of heating and/or cooling loss can be attributed to air infiltration.

2.0lb closed cell spray foam insulation

Closed cell spray foam is a patented, water blown, rigid, closed cell foam system. Because there is no chemical blowing agent, the R-value is constant, 6 per inch. It is a one step air and moisture barrier. Its primary use is in commercial applications providing a vapor barrier. It is suitable for use in areas of high humidity and vapor drive, such as crawlspaces, indoor swimming pools, and commercial freezers.
